Simple Pleasures school was accepted by Yoga Alliance in February of 2013.  The school did not start until it was accepted by Yoga Alliance.  Christina’s initials are 200ERYT 500ERYT.  She started practicing yoga in 1999 and has been passionate about yoga ever since.

The following workshops do not need to be taken in a row.  It is important to take the first workshop In the 200 hour training as that is

the foundation of teaching yoga.  It would be best to take the first and second workshop and then take the rest of the workshops as you are able to attend.  Please call or e-mail us if you have further questions.

Are you looking to improve your technique or improve your home practice?  The first two trainings are perfect for you.  The first two trainings are more about technique and less about philosophy.  You learn the most poses in the first and second training and proper alignment for each pose.  You learn how to make a class flow and how to put poses in a class so it flows.  If you are interested in enhancing your own practice, the first two trainings are what you are looking for.  You may take the first two trainings without completing the 200 hours.  Call 608-780-4172 if you have any questions. ****Please note:  if you would like to sit in a class for personal reasons or for continuing education credits, the cost for one for the 200 training is $75.00 and the 300 training for one day is $100.00.  This payment must be received on the day of arrival.  Thank you.  Scroll down to see what you will learn in each training for the 200 and 300 Yoga Teacher Training.

Prior to signing up for this training, please read below what you will learn in the training.  You may or may not use all the things you will learn and practice but they are required to be a 200 hour yoga teacher.  Below are some bullet points about the 200 hour yoga teacher training:

·         Timeliness:  Please be on time for all of the trainings.  When you are not on time, the trainer becomes concerned about getting everything done and may move too fast.

·         Judgement:  Please put your judgement away upon arriving to training.  Part of the yoga philosophy is non-judgment.  Please refrain from blaming others for your actions.  Be responsible for who you are.

·         Honor:  We have two dogs and a cat.  They are part of the family. Honor the animals as you should also honor each other.

·         Forgiveness:  One of the hardest things for people to do is to forgive.  When something happens that you may not agree on, please be patient and kind and forgive.  We must continue to move forward.

·         Acceptance:  Please be advised that you may learn something that you feel you may never use.  All the things you will learn are part of the training.  Yoga is not only about poses but also about many other things.

·         Patience:  Be patient with one another as well as with the training.  Everything takes time.  You will get through it if, this is really what you want to do.

·         Honest:  Please be honest when you speak.  When the truth is not told, it is difficult to move forward.  Be honest about what you say and do.
