Massage during the winter months:

Winter can be really difficult and cold for most of us.  In the winter we don’t spend much time outdoors and are less active. Also, due to the additional layers of clothing that we wear we often feel heavy and depressed.

Remember that enjoying a massage during the winter months allows us time to give back to ourselves and to really appreciate our bodies as this is a time of rest.

Our moods are uplifted and we can even feel more energized and invigorated. Depending on which massage you choose, you can feel deeply relaxed and calm, or revitalized and energized, or a combination of all of these.

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Wednesday

9am – 8pm

Closed for appointments on:

Thursday, Friday, Weekends, and Holidays

Call to request an appointment outside of hours of operation.

Text Box: DoTerra Aromatouch Technique
dōTERRA’s AromaTouch Technique is a clinical approach to applying essential oils along energy meridians and visceral contact points of the back and feet to help balance sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems of the body.
The AromaTouch™ Technique improves well-being by reducing physical and emotional stressors and by supporting healthy autonomic function. The technique is simple and intuitive using dōTERRA®’s Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils for an unparalleled grounding experience.
The AromaTouch Technique includes four primary steps designed to minimize systemic stressors to autonomic balance. Each step includes the application of two essential oils or essential oil blends specifically formulated to support healthy emotional and physiological functions for wellbeing. The technique requires 40 minutes per application, and multiple applications can be serviced with one set of dōTERRA’s essential oils.

Step Two: Immune Support (Cleanse & Strengthen) After establishing a state of calm and tranquility, Melaleuca Essential Oil is applied as a cleanser and detoxifier, followed by an application of dōTERRA®’s On Guard™ Protective Blend of pure therapeutic-grade wild orange, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary essential oils that stimulates and supports the body’s own external and internal defensive immune functions.
Step Three: Inflammatory Response (Stimulate & Soothe) Step three begins with application of Aroma Touch™ Massage blend of basil, grapefruit, cypress, majoram, peppermint, and lavender to help stimulate blood flow to surface tissues, followed by a comforting application of Deep Blue® Soothing Blend of wintergreen, peppermint, blue tansy, German chamomile, helichrysum, and osmanthus to help support a healthy inflammatory response in the body.

Thai Massage, or Nuad Boraen, or Traditional Thai Massage, or Thai Yoga Massage, is a unique and powerful healing art that has been an integral part of traditional Thai medicine for thousands of years.

Thai Yoga Massage is a truly wonderful experience for both giver and receiver as energy blockages are released, boundaries dissolve and deep healing occurs in a space of presence and meditation.
The benefits of Thai Yoga Massage are countless. By freeing the flow of vital energy in the body, Thai Massage can improve posture, breathing, flexibility, digestion and circulation. Muscles are stretched, inner organs toned and emotional and nervous tension is reduced. Often a deep sense of peace can be experienced during and after a treatment.

Although the main emphasis in the practice of Thai Yoga Massage is usually on health prevention (as all disease manifests first on the energy level and can be treated there before it becomes physical), it can also be of great therapeutic benefit for a range of specific problems and conditions, such as headaches, back pain, digestive disorders, shoulder and neck tension, joint pain, menstruation problems, insomnia and other stress related conditions.
Thai Yoga Massage is done on a firm futon or mat on the floor with the patient dressed in light clothes. Typically a session lasts between 1 ½ - 2 hours, but can also be considerably longer if needed.

The practitioner uses his or her thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet to apply a combination of acupressure, gentle rocking and twisting, joint and spine mobilizations and assisted yoga stretches. With the therapist using bodyweight instead of strength and a steady and meditative rhythm, Thai Yoga Massage looks and feels like a graceful dance between giver and receiver.
